About this winery
The wines of See Ya Later Ranch celebrate the lively legacy of Major Hugh Fraser, a colourful character who purchased the property high above the Okanagan Valley in 1920. He planted vines and seeded a legend. These days, visitors love See Ya Later Ranch for its well-crafted VQA wines served in an unparalleled setting. The tasting room and wine shop are located in the Major’s 1900’s home.

Production notes
In a year full of uncertainty, one thing can be certain: a banner year for See Ya Later Ranch! A wet spring delayed berry development somewhat until things took off in the summer. A very hot summer was mitigated somewhat by being so high in elevation that the few degrees difference from the valley floor allowed vines to keep producing sugars without shutting down during the hottest portions of the day. White fruit is rich and fruity and perfectly balanced. Red fruit is silky and fruity. Overall, an exquisite vintage.
Tasting notes
The different varieties of this Meritage were picked when they were ripe in their time. They were fermented in open top fermenters and punched down twice daily for two weeks. The wine then went through malolactic fermentation and was then placed into barrels. After aging for 16 months, the wine was then artfully blended. Cabernet Sauvignon 46%, Merlot 33%, Cabernet Franc 21%.
