About this winery
When they founded their winery in 1877, Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino knew that the secret to producing the best Tuscan wines was access to the best vineyards. With this philosophy in mind, Ruffino has assembled over the years a collection of top wineries in the most important fine wine designations in Tuscany. For the company, each of the vineyards is like a jewel - a gift of the land of inestimable value.

Product notes
Serve well chilled, between 8°C and 9°C. Ideal as an aperitif, but can also be combined at the table with a variety of dishes, such as grilled fish, roasted chicken and fresh salads.
Production notes
As with any sparkling wine, the production of this sparkling rosé takes place in two stages. First, a still white wine is produced from glera grapes and a second still red wine, produced from pinot noir. Then these two wines are assembled to create a wine of a pretty rosé hue. This mixture then undergoes a second vinification in a closed tank, called the Charmat method, where, with the help of selected yeasts, a secondary fermentation (lasting about one month) takes place in pressure tanks before the wine is bottled under pressure. The Charmat method is well suited for wines from aromatic grape varieties, as it preserves the typicity of the grapes, while creating fresh, fruity and fragrant sparkling wines.
Tasting notes
Ruffino Mousseux Rosé is fresh and fragrant with notes of strawberry and light notes of rose petals. On the palate, this wine presents elegant bubbles and a refreshing acidity, offering charming flavours of red fruits and delicate white fruits on a persistent finish.
