About this winery
Tom Gore is a second-generation grape farmer from Sonoma County and from the time he learned to walk, he was stomping alongside his dad, getting dirty, and taking care of the grapes. Tom has worked every harvest since he was seven years old, and has always known farming grapes would be his life’s work. With Tom Gore Vineyards, he is stepping out from behind the scenes to tell the story of the farmer’s role in making great wine.

Production notes
Our grapes come from selected vineyards in Central Coast and North Coast where the cool nights and warm afternoon breezes contribute to the slow ripening of the fruit to obtain an intense flavor and elegant textures. North Coast grapes offer notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, richness, and soft tannins. While those of Central Coast bring the notes of small red fruits, plum, dried grass, with a firm structure.
Tasting notes
Our Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby, with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and cherry on notes of oak and spices. This wine is ample, with concentrated flavors and rich in mouth, balanced acidity, fine tannins leading to a long finish.
